Back to Ben's Motifs In Tatted Lace

Mistakes are made, but still pretty ones.

I am feeling better about this since I finished up my bonnet, I am not as far along as tat-ology and UMI & TSURU with the motifs.
This is a very large project and feels overwhelming (the instructions) at times.

This is just a different lighting than the above I will take it out side soon to get you all a better view of the colors

  1. Che bello Carollyn. .credo anch'io che sia un pò complicato con colori diversi ma l'effetto è veramente carino

  3. Lovely colours in any light! It certainly seems quite a daunting pattern, but I'm sure it will be worth the effort.

  4. Gorgeous.

I have learned a lot from you as I watch your progress. I really like the different colours you are using and - can you believe this?- I am thinking about the next Corona I want to tat after this one! How insane is that thought!

There is so much in this pattern that it keeps me not only on my toes, but also interested in the process and the progress. That is unusual for me.

Because I have made so many errors in the pattern and fixed them, I feel this piece is very valuable for my learning. Your comments have certainly aided me very much in correcting mistakes! Thanks! : ))

  5. Oh thank you and I feel the same about you I do believe you are more of a perfectionist, I guess I should have redid the inside of the ovals but wanted to press forward cause I could not stand it, I would have never tried this if it wasn't for you :) It was odd because when you suggested it I was really looking at "Pinecones" from his other book Tatting Adventure. This seemed bigger and more spectacular and you were gonna give it a go so that gave me courage :)
