Dandelion lace Doily Completed

This asparagus is great for displaying this doily cause it is just as light and airy.

Little tip about the background garden, an elderly lady taught me about silk flowers,  I have struggled with this weed tree thing and trimmed it back as well as I could, then I bought some silk flowers and stuck them on there till I figure out how to remove the this thing that appears to have roots to China.
So far the silk hasn't faded.

This pretty table sits outside and does look good on it so I may place the table back inside, dare I leave the doily out side? :)
I really enjoyed this doily and can see me making another one
It is weird cause I messed up the measurements on the length of the bare threads but it turned out nice and worked out any way I am still trying to figure out how it worked with out ruffling it up.

Ice Drop Occhi, with folded rings to make a Necklace

Previously bought a string of the peacock coin beads, and decided to make a necklace!

"Folded Rings" are a big help when altering this for some frilly tatting work, to place around the neck, Do you see them?  :) 

I am almost half way round but in no hurry....

Been working with the garden and lawn in this beautiful weather at home it is like a vacation to sit on front porch and tat

Frivolite Last Round

Good Morning!
Nothing like a pile of lace.  Got some waiting to do so I am taking it with me.

This round of Dandelion is done and I love it!

Measuring in at 13 and 1/4 inches or 33 and a half cm:)

Tatting With A Little Hair Spray

Yes to keep the threads straight !

After blocking with little water overnight I spritzed with Hairspray to help keep tiny threads in place

And It is working.
 The delicate lavender and pink color show up here, the flash kinda steals the color :)

Tatting Can Be Confusing

My Irises bloomed and so you get to see them on this lovely Sunday,  If you look closely you and see the messy tatting.  

I have to lay each half made ring down, and lay the doily on my knee to see the over and under parts.

And then do it again!
I do enjoy it though :)

Tatting Lace Dandelion Update

Well finished this round and started the next.

Then trimmed my roses and wish you could smell this lovely basket smells

Well it does make a good back drop to show the next row in tatting.

More Coloring and vase with white cherubs, that I got at the church rummage sell for 75 cents.

The weather is very gorgeous lately, this current row will be mixed with the pink thread on the every other ring (little hard to see). 

Tatting Lace Fun

Working on my (Danelion) doily row, and  received  little delicate shuttles from Tim this was a fun trade and it's always nice to see things in person, they are delicate couldn't wait, had to wind them up and make something.

They will make great teaching shuttles and I love this idea.

This is kind of a Pinterest Pick from this Pinchick I do enjoy this even though it seems to not be catching on. I like how it has made me stop and try something different!

Also coloring that is very popular in this area :)
