Waiting to Tat Lace :)

So what do you do while waiting for the next round to show up????

You tat something else, and my love for one shuttle tatting get satisfied.  Its so beautiful and just has a name of "The Tatted Doily" I've made this before.  Its just rings and size 80. but pattern suggest size 30.

It's for sale on Esty I just got it long ago but it is still there. It may be free at craft tree but not sure.    

Don't you just love a pile of lace :) The Lovely 2019 Spring doily is awaiting the next round :)

Another Purpose For a Key

"Victorian Credit Card Keeper" with an inserted protection barrier!  

I forgot to take a picture of the key by it's self and it gets stitched on first before it is sew together.

I found that no one can read your credit card with these simple silver proctors and so I carefully insert them inside 

between the velvet and felt.  Frey check the velvet where the edge is cut so you can stitch things down.

After the key is sewn on, then stitch the keeper together and tatting simple edge to fit all the way around

I stitch the tatting in place keeping a few credit cards in it so you don't stitch too far in ward. 

keeping the credit cards inside while stitching can help too when you need to add a little something for artistic balance :)

the protectors can be ordered at Amazon or eBay.

My blackberries made great tarts, I actually made 3 but the other 2 got eaten too fast!

Below spring doily size 80 thread and measuring in at 34cm  getting large now and yes I think the last row will take longer than a week to finish I pinned approximant 30 repeats and this gives me extra days to tat other things!

for this key.

I got the smallest pearls for the smallest key. I took this picture cause the fabric in my shirt matched so perfectly.

Below of course is spring doily it is getting large and somehow I still have been able to keep up with the doily along with my preparing for Tat Days! 

The color is off it is dark out and this is with a flash, just FYI.

Key Kits and Deer and Sweet Earings

Keys have been prepared and placed in the kit boxes and much more to fill and do!

My blackberries are doing great and starting to ripen to 😄 

I needed to draw a key for one of these key pattern and now writing it in, which key design do you like best?
