I need something to put my stuff in! "This girl's got to have another purse!"
I love the look of netting, and it's fun to add to a motif with picots on the edge! like below picture, I strengthened the netting, by an edge with rings and chains. |
Then you make two alike!
The fun part is connecting them together at the picots.
Wow. So pretty and fitting with that picture. Did you draw that?
ReplyDeleteyes, I love to draw and paint too but haven't done much of that lately ;)
DeleteThat tatted bag is exquisite!!! :)
ReplyDeleteVery lovely! I appreciate the tip about the cording. Is it your own pattern?
ReplyDeleteyes, the pattern I made up, and Thank you for the complement! I really feel two doilies would work if picots are along the edge, they can be put together with the rings then chains and leave opening then go around the opening last of all!
ReplyDeleteDarling madtatter, I am in love, and I am going to make a similar one, if I can. What a dramatic little thing to put your hanky in !!
ReplyDeleteYour computer always thinks I am a robot!!

ReplyDeleteLovely purse! Thanks for the explanation how to work it.
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous purse! I've thought of trying something similar with my favorite pattern. You know the one... Spinning Wheel!
ReplyDelete...in blue, of course. ;-)
I was thinking that would work too! You know I tried that spinning wheel long ago and couldn't get my brain to remember the pattern, so I stopped and didn't go back to it, silly me!
