They are all very cute, each with a different middle as well as the different colors. What a neat idea for a quiet book. Glad you enjoyed the pattern.

DeleteOh they are absolutely adorable and what a fabulous idea with the clock. I have made one of these mice covering a ring but far prefer your centres and the colours you have used. Must go back to the pattern again!

DeleteBrilliant idea to make a book for the grandchildren using the nursery rhymes, and tatting together, it will introduce them to tatting and may get them interested in tatting for later years.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely group of mice! They look as if they are planning some mischief! Your clockk-plus-mice is very beautiful,but nursery rhymes are a mystery to me. i know of them, but I wish someone would explain them to me.
ReplyDeleteThese can be short stories, or nonsense words, historical accounts, and some rhyme and are put to music and danced to or clapped to. They increase imagination and word skills. Some would not translate well at all because of language annunciation with rhymes. Some people recite them with unknowingly accounting the grim things like "Black Death" but is something children had to deal with long ago. Those particular ones have a happy dance and activities that has lasted through the ages. They are fascinating to me as an adult and I look at them in the way I just described.

That is funny, and I wondered before I posted this how the language interpretation would change the little child's play story to other countries. I guess there is need to have cats if the house has a mouse in the clock!
DeleteThis is a very creative endeavor and cleverly done! It will be a cherished keepsake book! I'm not normally a 'fan' of mice, but these are adorable - and they have been 'multiplying' around the web since Wanda shared her wonderful pattern!
