Tatted Lace Doily Update

It has been slow going, and now I will be on my last round of the vintage doily pictured in background above.

I will be making the last round with single flower motifs and this will take a while to tie off and hide the threads on each separate daisy
along with that, I am out of size 40 white  :(  so now got to order it.
I was trying out another vintage pattern, it was simple and can play with colors as well.

One thing that I hate is that it seems to take forever to find the pattern that corresponds with the picture.
Then I got to go back and forth to check on my progress.

    1. Tatting Patterns, by Julia E. Sanders this book was a reprint of an old 1915 pattern book and the patterns are public domain, I enjoy it with other books that captured and kept this patterns together!

  10. Stunning doily & beautiful insertion ! Both are truly lovely :-)

Carollyn, you can scan & print the instructions &/or the image on one page OR scan only instructions & clip them to the image page. You won't have to flip back & forth. Just a suggestion ;-)

  11. Yes, it is true but I figure I payed good money for the books why didn't they do that from the start with I can see the work for a free pattern but not a book you payed for. I am picky and want to tat more than play on the scanner :)
