The collar was applied to the dress! |
I love it |
The added glass pearl added a nice weight :) |
I did try this on other dresses. |
Pressed out here the size 20 is a nice weight for a collar I think. This pattern is given on Renulek's blog, I added the pearls on the last row dividing them into her stitch count pearl change diagram on my previous blog. |
I LOVE IT!!!!!!! It looks perfect with the grey dress and the beautiful bee brooch. Just my style!

ReplyDeleteThank you all I ordered the bee out of ebay and thought it was a very small one and it was not, seem to work out great for this!
ReplyDeleteSo, so pretty, is it going to be removeable so that you can use it on other dresses etc.?

Yes, I stitched it on with white thread and I will remove it, actually this dress is a little old and has another year in it and then it is over :)
ReplyDeleteWhenever you wear that dress with the fantastic collar you are going to get so many compliments, just love it and the brooch.
ReplyDeleteOh thank you I plan on it tomorrow for church!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty :-)
ReplyDeleteIt strikes me that each row in itself , or in combination would make a gorgeous edging/collar too.
Fabulous finish! Adds just a nice touch of elegance.
