I hide my threads this way at beginning of split rings and this was a mistake and I can undo a ring but prefer to cut and tie on I feel it looks neater. Thank you :) Janemactats her wonderful pattern can be found here |
Oh my, these little animals have to be made one by one! And they have beads. Yes, this is a sophisticated pattern, but natural looking at the same time.

This is a magnificent design - in the colours you chose, it reminds me very much of the ochres and red earth of the Australian landscape.

DeleteThis particular doily really IS a Book ! It is the Only doily/tatting I've come across that encaptures & narrates a Story so vividly, visually, & directly ! Jane McLellan has truly created sparkling magic with this piece, & you are doing it so well too :-) It looks stunning.

DeleteHow true comparing this particular doiily to a book, it is indeed a pattern with so many techniques, extremely clever and lovely to see it being tatted especially with close-ups of the animals, my what patience!
