Another round finished and only 3 more to go. Unlike doilies is that they get so big and the rounds stay same size pretty much.
Notice the lawn is getting green and it is 72 degrees out yea! |
Did finish this round, and wasn't till I viewed this picture I see that I need to add a little chain in the center, ooops! |
Little more progress on Ben's doily, I marked where not to connect the rings. the dark purple and the yellow are only colors variegated. |
Pretty colours on the last doily. Wish it would start to warm up over here!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, It was a bit colder and more snow that we normally have for winter, these last couple days is warmer than normal, so the weather is weird this year, but I like warm better than cold :)
DeleteSuch a precious baby bonnet!!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove your doilies!!!! :)
Thank You!
DeleteI just love that baby bonnet. So delicate. Great progress on your other doilies, too. Spring has also sprung in Texas! Three ice/snow storms the last two weeks of Feb. and then suddenly Spring in March.
ReplyDeleteThose storms moved to us after you got dumped on we did not get hit as hard but enough to call of school for 2 weeks. It is nice to recall warmth again.
DeleteThat bonnet will be a wonderful gift! I couldn't find where a chain is missing!! Lovely thread for both doilies.
ReplyDeleteIt is in the very middle right after the rings, all the chains make a "V" shape except one. :)
DeleteBeautiful tatting & display :-))
ReplyDeleteThanks Muskaan!
DeleteSuch beautiful tatting. Your work is all beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank You!
DeleteWow, you have so many large projects going at once! Love the way the Renulek doily is coming along. You know I have become a fan of the small threads :)
ReplyDeleteYes I have too it seems to tat up faster and looks very lacy!
DeleteSuch beautiful work!

Thanks Marianne once you feel comfortable with tatting then try the smaller threads and you will be surprised how well it works out!
DeleteLove the baby's bonnet, your renuleks mat is looking lovely and Bens doily is also another gorgeous piece.
ReplyDeleteCan you send some of your warm weather over the pond we are still a bit cold over here
Margaret
