Another Round of Tatted Lace for All

Well this is very delicate and compliments the last round, I do tug rings and chains, after I finish a few repeats to straighten them. This  wonderful doily of Renulek's click here for directions :)

The doily is growing, and this round covers the pattern of the real Porcelain plate. Opposed to the plate below :)

I have begun the next round of motifs of Ben Flikker's doily

This plate is fake plastic but so pretty I use it to give treats for people then know one has to wash and return ha ha.

This tatted ring with cross I won from Tatting Lace In Grace, I wanted to show you all the size of her tatting, I am always fascinated with how small and delicate the stitches are when I see others in person because it looks so big on there blog, I wanted to place it by the shuttle for perspective.
The beautiful doily is actually knitted from our Margaret at Margarets Designer Cards she is another woman of many talents,   What did you use to knit tooth picks ? ha ha.  We had a trade and she obtained this commemorative 1914 Centennial War One for me too :)
Thank You Both :)

  5. It looks tricky, that round, but very effective. Yes, good idea to put a shuttle or something nearby, I had no idea God's Kid's work was so tiny!

  6. Your doily is looking lovely, I gave up on mine when I did the big cock up actually I gave it to my sister in law today for her birthday she loved it.
What do I do with tooth picks, I knit little bits that look like jumpers or leggings put them on tooth picks with a bead on the end, I do cut off the sharp bit and put them on cards for baby cards.
I never knew Gods kids tatting was so small, makes my mat look big, glad you like your shuttle,
    Margaret

    1. Oh yes a bit :) after you have one or two attachedto doily, make the first ring and then I make one shoelace knot(so that big chain lays flat)
Then as you do the little 2 ds p hold the doily to other one you made and continue around turning doily again(where the top of the round is toward your chest, for the attaching to the neck of the ring! Then when this is attached You flip doily ( with your shuttle already in the chain position and make your chains and back up to to top!
