I am making the motifs as I attach this round, for this part I do like the breaks of different things of colors and shapes to do. One other pleasant surprise. is how light and airy this doily is. It truly is like a spider's web :) I love my little dog and can see evidences of her in my tatting on this close up. At time I go over it with tweezers and get most of them out. My Yellow is a variegated one so it goes from light to dark. |
Wow, you are taking on two massive projects at once! I am guilty of abandoning my Monster Doily for now, I really need to get back to it. I'm surprised at how large the Corona doily is in size 80 thread. I wonder which will be bigger when they are finished?
ReplyDeleteOh, I have not worked on the Monster in I while, and still going to leave it on a back burner so they say. I take breaks lots of times and I can see me finishing Corona first, just because of the variety of colors.
DeleteWow two large projects at once, they are both looking lovely I look forward to seeing how they work out
