Row 9 and Pretty Shuttles Bought on Line :)


It is growing!

This plate above is the same plastic plate used below 

taken months ago before my break.

I have moved from smaller shuttles to larger ones bought on line from E-bay.  I can put plenty of thread on these they are well made( no unwinding from weight of thread), they are a bit large but less rewinding. It is good to work my hands to different size shuttles but I don't mind, thread is size 40.

  1. It's looking fantastic! Yes, I can see you'd need bigger shuttles for the outer rounds. Those are pretty.

  2. Lucky you for finding bigger shuttles. I use larger ones too, but then I am working in size 10, rope to some. Your doily sure has grown up past the plate and looks so nice now.

    1. I think that is the size JS works it too. I think it will be a table cloth at size ten :) and I love how yours is working out!

  4. There is something to be said for uni-colour tatting; this is so beautiful. And, your tatting is perfect. Nice!

    1. I love colors but some times I look at all white or ecru and like the uni-colors and just got to make that too. Or maybe I should just say, Yes I agree it is shorter to say that :)
