This is how I began, tatting row 10. |
On the left is the shuttle I purchased on E-bay, and the right, I made a while ago with soldering not that fun.
While on my E-bay purchasing spree, I bought this brooch that seems to match this Victorian theme and flowers in her hair. A watercolor made about 12 years ago. It took this long to find something to go with it ha ha :

Poskromienie bluzki pomysłowe, serweta piękna a czółenko po prawej wprawiło mnie w zachwyt.
ReplyDeleteThank You, I will have to make a post on how to make it, now that you said that :)
DeleteRandom tatting is much more difficult than it sounds - you did a good job, especially with beads added.
ReplyDeleteThank You so much, at the time I had the pretty glass beads that seem to match that green color thread and not very many of them.
DeleteI love the tatting added to the shirt - great idea for some of those really low cut tops. I think it would take me forever to do any kind of random tatting - I would never be 100% 'done'.
ReplyDeleteThat is very funny, and yet you are right. I said to may self " I am out of beads and this is an odd rounded triangle shape but pretty" and just stoped not knowing it would become anything. Then I bought the shirt years afterwards, that was too low :)
DeleteYour doily is looking fabulous!! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat shuttles and brooch!! :) Love the filigree shuttle!!!! :)
Great idea for that shirt!!! :)
Thanks the shirt is solves to problems at once :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work, I need to learn tatting but it is so difficult. I admire your skill. Xx
ReplyDeleteThank You I tried on my own years ago without computer and did not get very far it is like you need someone to show you how. I wonder with all the You tube videos if I could learn with that but not sure!
ReplyDeleteYour JS tatting is so precise - love the photo with it in your palm ... enhances the lacyness & beauty of the pattern.
ReplyDeleteCute modesty panel :-) I used a triangle of the magic square for one of my deep-V necked front.
Thank You! That is a great idea ( triangles) and with all the threads now a days you could get one to match any blouse you know.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shuttles and brooch, really looks beautiful on your picture
ReplyDeleteLovely triangle goes well with your blouse, amazing how these little bits come in handy.
Your JS mat looks lovely in your hands
Margaret
Thanks Margaret, it does help to save the little bits that seem insignificant at times!
ReplyDeleteGreat use for Random Tatting. I started row 10 the same way. Your lovely stitches make my JS cry to be picked up, silly thing.
