Thank you. That was my original idea was to make a brooch out of it and then both daughters said hair instead.

I was working on a trial piece for mine and my grand daughter saw it and said that her mum would like it, that's before I even added the beads now it think it will definately walk in that direction, No wonder we never get to wear anything we make.

That is what happens at my house, I even wanted to add a backing so you couldn't see all the little stitches but that didn't happen :) It really didn't take that long because of the small size. I was scarred at first and then it just started to really work as I kept going. the piling of the beads on the head was the part I was most unsure about and this seem to just work out okay. I will make more and other colors too :)

ReplyDeleteI was supersized how this worked out and the head and beak was the scary part cause I just piled the beads on with out knowing what I was doing. It didn't take as long as you would think maybe because of the 3 inch size :)
