Great earrings!!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the story and picture from the little one!!! :)
Thanks, I thought that was a great drawing for her age too.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty impressive! I'm not sure I could make earrings for my daughter based on a drawing, but it sure would be fun to give it a try!
ReplyDeleteThank you, it was a little scary to do and the last row I was able to fit it to same type oval basically was a challenge though :)
DeleteI bet daughter is super happy with those beauty earrings! Well done!
ReplyDeleteThanks Suz, but now she want me to brush a paint on them and not sure want to do that. If I had known from beginning I would have put a silver or gold threat in it to start with :)
DeleteIt's not easy to interpret someone else's ideas - well done to you!
ReplyDeleteYou are very right, good point!
ReplyDeleteVery very nice work Carollyn! I love the shape and the color.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful your plants, in Italy named ortensia.
have a good week
sabrina
Thank you Sabrina it is a good time of year with different flowers blooming I love the real flower to which we try to imitate :)
DeleteLovely pair of earrings, nice drawing of what she wanted, and you did a good job getting the tatting as near to the drawing.
ReplyDeleteYour hydrangeas are more advanced than mine, just showing buds here, asparagus foliage is used in florists for greenery, I used to buy it every summer for my arrangements etc.
Margaret
Thank You Margaret I love the foliage and people ask what is that? I have not used it when giving away flowers in vases for birthdays or for sick friends I will to this and take a picture too! Thanks for the tip great idea!
DeleteI'm impressed, the earrings are very big and everyone can see how wonderful lace you've made :)

DeleteDear Carollyn, this sketch is so wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteI love your earrings and I love the Snowball (Japanese name is Ajisai. In the language of flowers, to name a few, a white hydrangea means “Tolerance” , a blue hydrangea means “Mystery” and a hydrangea means “Persevering love” ).
Have a great week! Hugs <3<3<3
erba
Thankyou. What a unique fact about the wonderful flower, the Japanese have a better definition for the flower, ours now seems too quickly thought of :) thanks for sharing and stopping by.
DeleteExcellent visualization and execution !!! It's great to see granddaughters taking up the baton :-)
ReplyDeleteNice video :-)
She is very alert for her age, and listens to our conversations even though you think she is not. She want to learn to tat very badly, but still a tad young just turning four:)
