Eclectus Parrot Beading Finished!

I don't know why I took so long to finish her, she is large though, just under 4 by 6 inches.

I did enjoy making her.  In background is another motif from the "Tatting With Your Life" book. was not as thrilled with this one, just didn't seem to tat up quite like I wanted, but looks good for bird background :)  Yellow lighting here.

I enjoyed adding the buttons and some are new and some are antiques.  She was designed from a picture of customers lovely loved bird Lucy I have the construction and picture of actual bird under August 20, 2016.
I was sad to see her mailed off cause " I love Lucy" :)

  1. Magnificent bird! I like the tatted motif, though of course I don't know what you were imagining.

  2. I don't know if I choose the right colors and it just didn't look like one in book, maybe just the mood I am in.

    1. It is a doily but you have a great idea that style would look good as a frame. Thankyou for the idea 😄💟
