Cornflowers

In this book, "Mastering Tatting" by Lindsay Rodgers

She describes Cornflowers as flowers the grow beneath her corn,

I thought of the blue flowers called "Cornflower" wonder if that is how the got their name?
Wow it is check it out here looks like they are endangered flowers too
that's why I didn't make so many blue one :)

  6. Oh, now it all makes sense - the brilliant colours, design elements, and your excellent tatting. Love it when a piece tells a story - like Jane's Under the African Sky Doily !
