Thanks Ninetta, I don't like the sound of my own voice and this got placed on this blog by trail with computer so I just left it :) But I agree it is fun to hear a fellow tatter even if just a moments!
Carollyn, that's how I do it too, mop up the excess water. I usually put the pins in the rings or a chain, rarely a picot, and when I am doing snowflakes I do use a polar grid underneath. I check the picots and straighten any twisters. That is a lovely doily.
