Lacy Hearts for Febuary
I love this little heart called "Sadie's Heart" by Dusenbury
I finished the pretty little heart Called "Classic Heart" by Robbin and started the latest spring doily too!
And sock number two is on it way.
I forgot to mention that winding the yarn in a ball and keeping it in a bowl is also very helpful even though most of you know this, if your new at knitting this helps.
Have a great next couple days, keep your projects going smiles from Carollyn!
I like the way you have displayed the tatting, very effective. Liking the socks, that's one thing I have not tried, patterned socks, I have made plain one's, in fact I have some on the go right now but then they've been on the go for yonks. lol Briony x
Wow i am confused i never new another way except the circular ones and I don't know how to do that, it's all i can do to the counts right and just figured that out with my coiless pins.
I agree completely I figured out how to get passed that. I down load the picture of the pattern and write the stitch count beside it, i beleive she did this back in the day befor diagrams and was trying to explain too much. Some of her diagrams have bits of stitch counts beside them so i just right the rest in and toss the 6 pages of instructions ha ha ha
Olá amiga! Esses corações ficaram lindos, que mãos de fada você tem. Parabéns por tão belos trabalhos. As meias então, estão ficando um amor. Adorei!!!!!! beijos fique com Deus.
Lovely hearts! I have knit socks on two needles, but I don't like sewing them up, so I learned to knit them with five needles... much less finishing required! ;-)
I understand completely, I admire knitting and want to try it more especially seeing all out tatters do knitting but I have to admit it is not my number one skill. I do really like it but I favor tatting most :)

ReplyDeleteOh now that you say that I remember my mom doing that. I feel I would get confused at where the beginning would be.
DeleteSaddes heart is beautiful love the colour.
ReplyDeleteGlad the socks are coming along, they are looking good,
Thanks, a nice vote of confidence from another expert knitter😄
DeleteSuch pretty hearts & great progress on the socks :-)
ReplyDeleteI haven't knit socks, but in pullovers, I like to do one arm at a time for the same reasons.
