"I'm A Little Tea Pot"

Words to the song kept going through my head as I was making this one.
I missed a friends birthday and made this card, and cup with chamomile tea bags in it.This tatting was worked on during the evenings during a conference I attended below.

Blacksmith Conference last week, I watched and learned about making knives and tools it was surprisingly fun :) pictures below.

This is a billit (several layers of medal)

Heat till yellow and smash it and fold it over.
TA DA you have a knife
Another class was tool making, and he is placing a hole in the metal.
The classes were done in a historical town in Tennessee and the forge was really being used.
I learned many things, and next field trip we go on will be a tatting one :)

  1. Wow, knife making course looks really interesting. My husband Jack loves knives, he'd like to do something like that. What a great idea to send a tatted teapot with teabags, I like that!
