Donation for Silent Action, Lace Making Tools in a Basket

Tatting Cornor Tat Days
The Money will go to local Spay and Neuter Program
I call it "Catch of the Day"

I repurposed long pine needles from a tree in neighborhood that met a sad ending when those pine beetles took him.
Luckily the sister tree is still around.
made with tatting thread.

Remember those blue socks I knitted  and made many mistakes with?
Well they fit and looking gooood!
on my latest grandson

Have a wonderful Day

  5. Love your catch of the day, fabulous with the basket.
Those blue socks are perfect, your knitting is coming along but we have a heat wave at the moment and it's been too hot to do anything, as soon as it cools down in the evening I will be at it.

    1. I know what you mean, those socks were done last winter at least it was cold out side. But his feet were getting a bit cold with aircondishioning so these did work😃

  6. I love the catch of the day! Wow, pine needles, I didn't know you can make baskets out of those. I hope you raise a lot of money for the cause.

  7. Thanks, yes need to find a type of pine tree with long needle like at least 8 inches is nice but 5 in is okay in a pinch. You soak them like you would making a wood basket and use them moist I keep in ziplock bag with wet paper towel

  8. Such pretties :-D
I remember your earlier baskets - or was it Frivole? I'm all confused.
For some reason your post shows up delayed in my feed - I almost missed this one, too.
