A One Shuttle Tatting Technique

I use this tatting technique on an Ice drop I love the look of this One shuttle and one round Ice Drop.

It is wonderful and I love the swirl look of it this wonderful lady frivolenka.blogspot.com/
She shows you how and uses beads and without beads.
She is Czech and the translation is not easy but nice pictures.
I will explain this as: You make a ring of a reasonable size 7p7 keep in mind very small picot and close ring and pull the string that you closed the ring like normal, with that string you closed the ring with pull up from behind till you get the swirl look. keep it taught and attach this to the picot you made and continue on to make a string of them.
I love One Shuttle tatting and this is great for me to make more patterns!

Have a great day and tat away!

My mother was an amazing seamstress, smocker, tatter, crocheter (is there such a word)!!!! Knitter - you name it, she could do it!
I can sew and embroider but when I try to crochet I get in a tangle!
I’m full of admiration for you clever girls👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you for your kind comment. Xx

    1. Wow would be nice to meet your mom. My mom could do many things too. Years ago she also painted on mens ties, and made the ties too. I think I picked tatting cause it was one thing she didn't do 😄
