This doily came to me as I was working on the first doily, and I am really liking this. These flowers are fun to do💐 |
Jan Stawasz gives measurements (in metric) and its helpful, cause I have to fit them in an 8 inch frame. With size 80 thread😃 |
Well this was the only picture I took at the beginning so this is all i got Have a great tatting day take care🦋 |

DeleteYour doilies are looking lovely, I know I saw this doily in the book and thought I would love to tat it and thats about as far as I got, perhaps one day I will do it, I have done the flower as a center piece on a card.
ReplyDeleteI dont how you manage so well to tat with size 80 thread.
Look forward to seeing them as they grow
I have gotten one of your butterfly cards I love it. I imagine the flowers are just as nice. I thought the same thing about this doily but never i thought I would make it all the same color and all green.
DeleteI love those flowers, too. Jan's doilies are usually much more dense than this one. 😍
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean and wondering if it will take less time to make, because of that.😃
DeleteI love this work dear Carollyn! I like the green color too!

DeleteIt looks beautiful so far! I also enjoy tatting those flowers.
ReplyDeleteOh that is good to here I was worried on the first one that I wouldn't be able to zigzag them correctly every time but I got a system down and feeling good about it😃
DeleteGorgeous! Love all his patterns. I have a long time WIP from his book sitting around. My favorite part of this pattern is the flowers.
ReplyDeleteThis is good to here cause I'm sure the split rings will get boring on the outer round. 😃
