well I tryed !
Well I tryed to make leaf top for pinapple but not happy with this.
Can't get consistince with the leaves so may go back to original
I will think on it and move on to other tatting projects for now!
Well that's true all pineapples are not the same. I think I got exhausted working on making the curves, go in two different directions and then on the length. I actually have one more made but wanted longer leaves on it. I will go back to this and finish it. Also I think I was looking at it too long!

Looks fabulous! I like the way it's not all the same, nature is not consistent. Good job. I agree with the West Pine Creations comment, you could leave it as it is.
That is super, Carollyn !!giggle,...giggle; I think that the last 3 trefoils on the bottom should be done in another color. They don't belong to the pineaple flesh, so they should not be yellow. Make them brown, for instance. We are going to have pineaple for dessert tonight!!
Aah! You make me long for a holiday in florida!!! Key largo is my favourite. Little restaurant on the beach, feet in the water,..... Lovely fish bbq and fresh pineaple as desert. Am i dreaming already? It is 01.13 pm here, cold and raining. You are an artist!is that hh's pinaple parfait?
I think they look very nice!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love it...you could leave it and sew (or Steam-A-Seam) it to a shirt.
ReplyDeleteYour pineapples look great, the inverted tatting on the leaves will come with practice, I love the technique and it is just right for this pattern.
ReplyDeleteThat is great. Looks like real pineapples, and who ever said that all pineapples are exactly the same?

ReplyDeleteOh, and I like the fact these are not the same pineapples you see in other crocheted (and tatted) doilies.
