The 4th Of July Tatted Strawberry

This means fireworks and strawberries and grilling out and potato salad. corn on the cob :) to celebrate the independence.
Don't have pictures of the rest of the items but this one is the strawberry!

Inspired by Teri Dusenbury I added some flowers and took away some stitches
The pineapple is now a strawberry!
Her pineapple patterns came a few years later, than the Cunningham in previous post, I wonder if she was inspired by her, they both are truly talented.

This is how I hold the split ring in my hand when forming the other side, thread around 3 fingers, and and I slide the shuttle over and under the ring thread, palm facing me as I work.

Yes I did finish Renulek's doily Yea! and started making little bunnies shuttles, I haven't done this in long time, I have made  new chocolate ones and place hooks in the nose if wanted.

  5. Neat strawberry! Congratulations on finishing the Renulek doily, good job. I must have another go at doing a split ring like that, I never feel I have enough control like that.

    1. Thank you! Your not the first person to say that, and I wondered on split rings, so that why I asked, I guess this is where get-togethers would help.

  17. I really love your strawberry. You did a wonderful job on the Reneluk doily. Do you sell your patterns. If so would you let me know about the strawberry? An your little bunnies are just to cute it as if they can just hop right into the garden of Mr. McGregor. But I bet he can't catch them. :)

  18. You have done a beautiful job on the doily. I just got pictures of all the rows showing the stitch count, but I would sure like it in a different format. I find that a bit hard to follow/read. Also, I just sent you an email, and I hope it goes though. Just love the bunnies..!
