Very pretty pattern, thanks for sharing the stitch counts. What book does the original come from? I've just gotten done altering one of the edgings from the Priscilla tatting book to make a bookmark.
I just watched the video and Love the effect ! It is almost like tiny picots are incorporated and the ring gives a floral visual. And that is a Gorgeous heart.
Is your Christmas tree full of pretty tatted things?? I bet it is! These snowflakes are so delicate and pretty. I STILL have not tried my hand at this yet, but I have my stuff all bought and stuffed in a drawer for when I'm ready! Hope you are having a wonderful December. Happy Holidays!!

ReplyDeleteThat is a fun idea the older patterns have wonderful ideas to explore, and this one I will check on to see I can't recall it for the moment.

Awesome and gorgeous snowflake!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for that fabulous video about the "fluffy" josephine knots!!! :)
I have been a fan of your josephine rings for a long time. They are wonderfull on the leaves of your strawberry!! But i can't make them like you do :(
ReplyDelete,.... I think it depends on the yarn! The softer the yarn, the prettier your JK technique is!
ReplyDeleteSorry to all for not getting back quickly I was helping my daughter with a move and thank you all for the compliments.
