Thanksgiving day, Grapes on the Vine, Frivolitet

Hope your are having a wonderful Thanksgiving Day, I am grateful for so many things and appreciate  all of my blogger friends :)

Having fun with tiny thread and colors too!

I love the 3D effect given to a flat doily
Working on a doily that was inspired from Instagram on Pinterest.

These two above and below are how it is being formed.  Grapes were made first

There is no pattern, In original picture an Asian tatter made a doily and laid the grapes on after completed the doily, I loved thought she put into picture and thought to incorporate it for real.

Renulek's Wreath First Attempt

When I first started her wreath I was ill, and the first round was not curving in to make a circle it stayed straight,
so I got an idea (after I figured out what I was doing wrong) to keep it straight.
and make corners for a frame.
The count is the same just added extra ring on her original pattern
found Here!

this is the front side of wreath and after soaking in glue and the ribbon too...

I stitched on back side, the broach pin the red ribbon bow helps to hide it.
Make small ribbon bows by tying  a bow as small as you can, and then keep pulling the ends, and tightening the knot till right size :) I shaped it after dipping it in glue and pinned to a board.

Have a great week and forgive me for not always spelling Renulek correctly, You have a wonderful blog and very talented :)

I will stiffen with glue and make a brooch out of it Thank You for the pattern Renulek, and click here to find pattern :)

I forgot to post this picture of the snowflake to the last post, my dog "Black Beary"  Have a great Sunday!

Snowflakes With Buttons, Details

The size of button can very slightly and the snowflakes that are done are closer to camera.

If you notice the one on collar is small and works with tiny 80 and 100 size thread, and the lager one is from the middle of the shirt and uses size 40 or 30 or 50   pinned out with glue makes nice ornament!

The direction are above in picture, click to enlarge.

Have a wonderful Sunday! I also added written direction below.

Start with a ring of  6ds attach to button 6ds and close ring.
Then another ring or 6ds picot 6ds.
 chain 10ds.

now a clover-  first ring is 2p2p2p2 close ring, and second ring 3ds seperated by 3ps remember join this to side rings, then last r is same as first.

Then chain down with 10 ds and join to free ring p make another two rings like at beginning and then chain 20 and make clover and 20 back down to button rings. repeat and alternate with chains with 10 double stitches and 20ds..
double stitches (ds) keep all rings by buttons the same and clovers the same. p for (picot), ring is (r) Enjoy
