Had to take a horse to find the "Ancient Ones" homes. |
This is what I got done at this point, then viewing my tatting, I had made mistakes and have fixed one so far. |
We had little car trouble :) Actually we got caught in a storm called "Goliath" on way home, more on that later. |
The Canyon was very high in the little green patch just below dwellings was a garden tended by the women. |
Some petroglyphs. |
Lovely pics & info :-)
ReplyDeleteYour JS brown gels perfectly with the background - looking great & will soon be finished :-)))
I can't wait it has been a long road and took many tatting detours too :)
DeleteOh wow, love those petroglyphs, we have some here but I've not been to see them. The JS doily looks almost done, looking so nice and big too.
ReplyDeleteYou should see them it is thought provoking to! I can't wait end in sight!
DeleteI love that you've shown your JS doily against those fabulous cliffs! Isn't it amazing how much tatting can be accomplished on the road? I can hardly wait to see it finished!
ReplyDeleteYes it is and I had a great fear of loosing it too :) I kept it in my big purse nice and close!
DeleteYour tatting looks amazing....the pictures you shared are just stunning, what an adventure you must have had..x
ReplyDeleteYes, it was an adventure I was afraid I was too old and glad I did it :) Thank You :)
DeleteYou are never too old, lovely photos and what a back drop to your wonderful cloth, oh I can't wait to see it finished.
ReplyDeleteLove your fun over your car, I thought American cars had wheels not horses, just my little British humour,
Nice to see you back,
Happy new year, another year and whole lot of pin challenges to come.

Oh how I envy you riding a horse, its one thing I always wanted to try and never did. I don't think I'd get my legs over now so I don't suppose I'll ever do it. ha ha.
ReplyDeleteLove the tatting, makes me want to do some but can't fit everything in.
Have a good 2016.

Oh I did have help, I thought I couldn't get my leg over too! They even had a way to help when we stopped and got off too. And the horse was very kind even held still while I took some pictures too :)
