Arizona"Cliff Dwellers" with J.S. Tatting

Hope you all have had wonderful Holidays :)  Been traveling lots in past 2 weeks and having fun, it takes 23 hours of just driving our car to this destination in Arizona from Tennessee in USA.
Cliff dwellers are above my right hand, They existed long ago and hid in cliffs for protection.  We have Native Americans and these preceded them, they are called "ancient ones".

Had to take a horse to find the "Ancient Ones" homes.
This is what I got done at this point, then viewing my tatting, I had made mistakes and have fixed one  so far.

We had little car trouble :)
Actually we got caught in a storm called "Goliath" on way home, more on that later.
The Canyon was very high in the little green patch just below dwellings was a garden tended by the women.

Some petroglyphs.

Love your fun over your car, I thought American cars had wheels not horses, just my little British humour,

  8. Oh I did have help, I thought I couldn't get my leg over too! They even had a way to help when we stopped and got off too. And the horse was very kind even held still while I took some pictures too :)
