"Guesses Doily" With Tatting Lace


Following through with the overlapping center I decided to stuff a flower bud  in and work this all around.

The shuttles and doll and butterfly cover up the next round, I forgot to take pictures before I started the next round.
so trying to cover next round discreatly with little items

The blue buds are a ring of  6 double stitches connect to previous round, between the rings , 6 double stitches and close ring.  The a chain of 11 double stitches picot and 11 more. repeat all way round.

    I really like the way your guesses doily has turned out. The colors work great together. My daughter thinks it has a peacock look to it. We both certainly like it.

    Creative minds think alike !!!
    Round 8 of Renulek’s doily also has three 6+6 rings that overlap !!!! Yet, the look is quite different.
    Love your guesses :-) And the blue really brightens it all

    I like so much this work Carollyn and I like the colors too! The flower in the center is so beautiful and I like the model with the colors changed .
