I still have two more rounds to go. The pattern is free on Instagram look for "tattingweed", she has a couple of very nice free patterns. |
This thread is large size 20 and feels thick. |
For this style the thickness kind of grows on you :) |
This is harder on my hands, so I have been taking breaks, want to make more but with smaller threads maybe :) Have a wonderful Week :) |
Your placement of 2 shades has only enhanced the floral 'peony-ish' design of this lovely pattern ! Very pretty :-)
ReplyDeleteI never thought of Peony-ish even though I was growing them, that's really good way to describe the pattern. Thank You!
DeleteVery beautiful work Carollyn, like a cloud! I like the colors!
ReplyDeletehave a good week
sabrina

ReplyDeleteThank You Silvana, I love the look and was thinking of making this again with blues and greens and yellows too.
Delete20 does feel thick when you've been working with 80! But I like the boldness it gives to this pretty motif.
ReplyDeleteThanks Me too and there is a pattern for all size threads and this looks great for 20 or more :)
DeleteThat's quite pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank You Michelle!
DeleteThis is so pretty in the thread you've chosen. I find size 20 feels a bit thick, but this looks great.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean and what is odd is that the colors were chosen a little by accident :)
