This was a fun pattern, but no mention in her book about how many cluny stitches!
Tatted Butterflies by Adeleid
With out pressing out or adding stiffener to the butterfly, my daughter wrapped floral wire to connect to hair clip and put this in my granddaughter's hair.
This little model was hard to keep still at the photo shoot :)
I am wanting to tat lots of butterflies this summer after visiting
Linda borboleta,ficou um trabalhinho delicado.
E o bebê também é muito linda.

Beautiful butterfly for a beautiful model! Such pretty delicate colours. I look forward to seeing more butterflies, you tat such interesting ones.ReplyDelete
Thank you Jane, I post this with a little guilt because someone sent me the hand died thread and I thanked them but feel guilty not remembering who now that years have pasted away.Delete
Your lovely granddaughter has grown a lot! How does she like being a 'big sister'? That is a very, very lovely butterfly. I think you choose the correct number of stitches in the Cluny. It all depends how tight you make them.ReplyDelete
Thanks Tally, still wish she could have given an idea!Delete
The cute butterfly looks great on the hair clip, especially as modeled by your granddaughter ☺ The wheat up here is almost ready to harvest but now we've had the rain that was needed a month ago and the fields are wet. Could be an interesting harvest this year. Your grand-dogs look like they'd do well looking after the granddaughter. I wouldn't want to mess with them.ReplyDelete
Oh I hope the rain doesn't mess up all the work, it's so sad when it happens. I think wheat looks beautiful in the field. And yes those dogs are huge like little lions!Delete
