Monochromatic tatted lace doily

I still have two more rounds to go.  The pattern is free on Instagram
look for "tattingweed", she has a couple of very nice free patterns.

This thread is large size 20 and feels thick.

For this style the thickness kind of grows on you :)

This is harder on my hands, so I have been taking breaks, want to make more but with smaller threads maybe :)
Have a wonderful Week :)

  1. Your placement of 2 shades has only enhanced the floral 'peony-ish' design of this lovely pattern ! Very pretty :-)

    1. I never thought of Peony-ish even though I was growing them, that's really good way to describe the pattern. Thank You!

  6. 20 does feel thick when you've been working with 80! But I like the boldness it gives to this pretty motif.

  7. This is so pretty in the thread you've chosen. I find size 20 feels a bit thick, but this looks great.

    1. I know what you mean and what is odd is that the colors were chosen a little by accident :)
