Working on the final round.
The blue is so brilliant and from Handy hands, the Yellow and green is from Sajou (Haberdashery)
this is very expensive, size 80 but I think is more like 100 size, is the very nicest cotton, thread I have ever tatted with it is so soft and silky making tatting fun, no twisting too.
I could have been a lot further but changed color three times, below is a repeat of other colors and it just didn't look right even though I love this blue.
Below is Lucy looking at her portait in beads I mailed it and pinned it to this thick paper
the yellow pin at head is the stick pin that holds it
onto paper (if wondering)
Mom said " Lucy is very happy and looks so lifelike"

Gorgeous mat, its back on my list further up the list I should say, I love your parrot, and the beaded parrot looks beautiful, always wanted a parrot but never had chance to have one, they live for so long maybe too late to get one now.ReplyDelete
Long ago some one gave us an old parrot and it out lived its first owner we loved it, and it was large and it got scared when a friend of my young daughter came in the house it flew away and lived with the crows I could see it but wouldn't come home.Delete
Lucy is amazing so lifelike.ReplyDelete
Your doily is so so pretty, just love bright colours. I agree it does remind me of Jane's Under the African Sky
Yes I am glad you agree. I am not positive what it is but it does remind me of that.Delete
