Previously bought a string of the peacock coin beads, and decided to make a necklace! |
"Folded Rings" are a big help when altering this for some frilly tatting work, to place around the neck, Do you see them? :) |
I am almost half way round but in no hurry.... |
Been working with the garden and lawn in this beautiful weather at home it is like a vacation to sit on front porch and tat Have a wonderful week! |

DeleteI love the texture and shape that curled rings bring to any pattern ! Nicely used here :-)
ReplyDeleteIf you turn the necklace around I see an angel !!!
You are extremely creative with your backgrounds - the wrought iron design and doily merge so well.
I think if tatting were ink blot tests you would pass with flying colors I do see her 🌹❤️🌹
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing this necklace finished and those peacock beads are stunning. Your doily is impressive too, the colours go so well. Fabulous weather in the UK at the moment but little time to tat.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I know what you mean my tatting is slow too much to do outside❤️🌹❤️
ReplyDeleteI love those vibrant blues in your peacock necklace!! So pretty! And that other project is gorgeous. Is it staying on that table? It looks great there!
ReplyDeleteGood question I'm not sure I have a display on tatting at our town hall and then not sure.
DeleteI love what you're doing with the peacock beads! Tatting in the garden sounds wonderful, but the bugs attack me within three minutes of going outdoors... not fun!
ReplyDeleteWow that is not fun our bugs come late summer and in the evenings. I did forget that we have some Bees that think the own the place and my husband has an electric fly swater that he lives to zap them with ha ha ha😄
DeleteThat's all beautiful Carollyn, I love your doily
ReplyDeleteThanks Ninetta I am almost done with it now 🌹❤️🌹
DeleteBeautiful ice drop necklace, love the colour around the peacock beads
ReplyDeleteYour doily is fabulous and looks beautiful on the table
Tatting in the garden, We have had some beautiful weather here but it's now broken with storms, so I hope it returns. It's a bank holiday this weekend in the uk, and I think it is with you, have a great weekend, I will be thinking of you tatting in your garden while it rains here.
I do have a cover of the porch and rocking chairs so little rain is fine but had a real gully washer last night broke a tree limb 😦
DeleteNice work, nice doily, nice weather... A perfect combination, I think. Does your work stay on that table? Fits wel.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend.
Well you are the second person who asked that question and makes me think it should go there i will consider it ❤️😄❤️
