Well am excited to have found out I will be placing doilies and other tatting in a large display case in our local court house, it also has a little museum in in too. It's called featured artists and it will be displayed for two months., July and August πππ
That deserves a Wow! You're very good with the mignonette, I remember gloves you posted, very beautiful tatting, I don't know if I have the same patience with this kind of patterns but you are very inspiring. Brava!
You do such beautiful work! I'd be afraid to use hairspray, though, because I'd worry it could stain the cotton. I use spray starch when I want to give a piece a little more body, and it has a nice scent, too.
I haven't tried the all brands of spray starch but the ones I have tried are to thick and can visibly be seen. This is not first time using hair spray, it has not changed the color and it rinse out.
Wow, I'd never have dreamt of spraying hairspray on my tatting. It's so delicate and pretty. Love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks I figure it will wash out like it does with my hair π
DeleteYou have the patience of a saint, well done its beautiful, where are you going to put it.
