Onion Rings With tatted lace

A simple motif I made up with Onion Rings and Josephine Knots at the tops
Size 20 thread, has a slight ruffle.

I did this with white and got it little stained and dyed it after making it it's uneven the coloring but I kinda like it!

  2. Yes, I didn't want to write it down because it has a slight ruffle to it and I wanted it to lay perfectly flat, so I was wondering weather or not to increase it a stitch in the center so it would lay flatter.

  5. Wow, that's very intricate. Worth fiddling with the stitch count to get it absolutely flat. One thing you could try, draw a paper template and fold it in half and quarters, then make sure one quarter or one half fits exactly before continuing. That way you don't have to tat the whole circle before finding it's not quite right.

    1. you know, I don't know why I didn't think of that I even have one in one of those snowflake books that done for me and my husband laminated it for me to pin snowflakes on. Thanks for the reminder! I will do that!

  6. I love it! I like Jane's idea for figuring out the stitch count. I hope you are able to figure out a stitch count that works for you. This is a pattern I would buy!
