"The Tatted Artistry of Teiko Fujito" I had fun with this, and great practice with 3 shuttles. Beautiful patterns love them! |
I had no trouble after studying the diagram and written directions, they were not overly detailed, not bad for 2003 book. |
Wish the length was given for the bare threads and thread sizes she used. I might be fun to place beads in the bear threads areas, and would also make threads same size too! |
Ohhhh, it's realy pretty, very interesting and a great job. I love it !
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, it's realy pretty, very interesting and a great job. I love it !
ReplyDeleteThat's really pretty. I like the colours as well as the design.
ReplyDeletebello colorato originale
ReplyDeleteVery pretty ! The bare threads look lovely, adding another dimension of laciness.
ReplyDeleteThank you all I enjoy the complements!
ReplyDeleteThe colors really "pop" in the first picture, gorgeous work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Michelle, the lighter green and darker green was mixed with the multi-color all Lizbeth from Handy handy
ReplyDeleteBeautiful motif, yes the bare threads might look good with beads on them,
ReplyDeleteLovely piece of tatting

I guess beads are just a matter of how you feel at the moment :)
DeleteLove it! Have wanted to tat this one for a few years. My opinion ? I think beads would take away from the beauty of the design... I would rather - for myself- practice on getting each bare thread exactly the right length, which would make this crazy beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYes I agree, I have more of an idea of the length this should be, but only after completing a whole one :)
DeleteAnother pretty one! Beautiful job of tatting, as always.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pammy Sue!
DeleteVery creative pattern, your tatting is beautiful, bare thread is its originality, what makes it unique, and it is what let you know that you needed 3 shuttles. If you hide it with beads, it would lost its originality, only my opinion.
ReplyDeleteGood point that you make! Beads should be for jewelry!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, I sit in awe of you talented tatters, it's just amazing to me. Do you mean you had to use three shuttles at the same time? The mind boggles! Lol I need tatting lessons!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank You and Yes, three at the same time, it was not so bad the extra one was able to not get twisted up like I thought it would because it hung lower and out of the way more than I thought.
DeleteVery beautiful and original! I love the colors!
ReplyDeletehave a good day
