I have moved from smaller shuttles to larger ones bought on line from E-bay. I can put plenty of thread on these they are well made( no unwinding from weight of thread), they are a bit large but less rewinding. It is good to work my hands to different size shuttles but I don't mind, thread is size 40. |
It's looking fantastic! Yes, I can see you'd need bigger shuttles for the outer rounds. Those are pretty.
ReplyDeleteYes who wants to keep winding? just tat away! Shuttles my husband bought me!
DeleteLucky you for finding bigger shuttles. I use larger ones too, but then I am working in size 10, rope to some. Your doily sure has grown up past the plate and looks so nice now.
ReplyDeleteI think that is the size JS works it too. I think it will be a table cloth at size ten :) and I love how yours is working out!
DeleteYour doily is awesome!!! :) The shuttles are very nice!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, the shuttle my husband got me for anniversary!
DeleteThere is something to be said for uni-colour tatting; this is so beautiful. And, your tatting is perfect. Nice!
ReplyDeleteI love colors but some times I look at all white or ecru and like the uni-colors and just got to make that too. Or maybe I should just say, Yes I agree it is shorter to say that :)
DeleteGrowth and evolution ... a Beautiful process of all-Round development :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks your so nice :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful napkin. The exact work, and shuttles are also charming
