I am really enjoying this doily but something interesting happens to it. |
It started to cup, even though it did this, I continued on. I didn't mind this when I plan on starching and placing flowers in center. |
Finishing the chain rounds time to start those pretty flowers around the edge so here it has begun. |
I only have 12 left and then I can search for flowers. (pattern on previous blog) |
It's so beautiful already!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much love you latest earings too.
ReplyDeleteI think it would have to cup a bit to go around a bouquet. I love your colors and nice tatting.
ReplyDeleteThanks, that is what I was thinking.🤔
DeleteYes, I agree with Bernice. Looks so pretty and you’re making rapid progress!
ReplyDeleteGood glad we all agree😄💟thanks
DeleteCupping is a lucky accident! (Why the School of Athens for a background?)
ReplyDeleteThank you,Just running out of different backgrounds and love art 😄
DeleteI agree that the cupping will be perfect for flowers. Your tatting is always so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane 😄
DeleteHa! Thanks Michelle! I was also wondering.😊
ReplyDeleteVery pretty doily.
You two are interesting, I actually got to see this painting in person many years ago, there is a unique story behind it.☺
DeleteIt must know what you are going to use it for so it's cupping to help you.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pattern, lovely art pictures you always find something interesting for your backgrounds.
'lucky accident' or 'meant to be'? It IS the season for miracles, right ;-D
ReplyDeleteEager to see it with the flowers.
Oh wat mooi zeg! Ik heb gehoord dat mijn dochter gaat trouwen, jammer dat ik er niet bij mag zijn. Dan had ik voor haar zo een mooie doiley kunnen maken. A ch. Ik ga proberen sneeuwsterren te tatten!
ReplyDeleteLiefs
Marianne.
