My husband got this book and he reads it to me some evenings (while I tat) Its great fun, and can order on Facebook

  5. I love the idea of your husband reading to you. If my memory serves me right Tom's voice is not the kind to read aloud, I remember him reading to the kids, lol

  6. That's funny I never thought about that, I know I dont like my own voice and I guess it is something you have to work at. I would definitely only read to my own family. 😀

And I Love the cozy image of you tatting and hubby reading aloud!!!
My husband read to me once - Who Moved My Cheese. Short and sweet and he has a great recitation/debating voice & diction.
BUT I still prefer reading myself - no audio ebooks either ;-D Visually is easier for me to process ;-P
