Spring Doily 2018

Been busy this week and with some shuttle making, and was very glad that this round went by very fast, if you haven't done this one it is a good fast round.  Only problems was going to fast and skipping a ring.
My husband got this book and he reads it to me some evenings (while I tat) Its great fun, and can order on Facebook
I love this folklore :)

    1. Yes, we use to take turns reading when our kids were younger and now it is just the two of us and it is still very nice I just need to read to him sometime, you know to make it fair.

  5. I love the idea of your husband reading to you. If my memory serves me right Tom's voice is not the kind to read aloud, I remember him reading to the kids, lol

  6. That's funny I never thought about that, I know I dont like my own voice and I guess it is something you have to work at. I would definitely only read to my own family. 😀

  7. What a lovely scene of him reading to you, mine goes to sleep while I tat or knit or he's half watching TV! and moans if I miss something on the TV. I think it would be nice to be read to.
    Your doily looks beautiful by the colours.

    And I Love the cozy image of you tatting and hubby reading aloud!!!
    My husband read to me once - Who Moved My Cheese. Short and sweet and he has a great recitation/debating voice & diction.
    BUT I still prefer reading myself - no audio ebooks either ;-D Visually is easier for me to process ;-P
